Magnesium Standard Solution ROTI®Star, 1000 mg/kg Mg in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil

Magnesium Standard Solution is a metallo-organic standard containing 1000 mg/kg magnesium in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil. The preparation is listed among analytical chemicals and among standards for AAS and ICP, and it is offered in the ROTI®Star range. A 50 ml pack with a weight of 0,100 kg is supplied from manufacturer Carl ROTH for laboratory use as an oil-based magnesium reference. The hydrocarbon oil matrix is specified at 20 cSt, and the solution shows a density of 0,862 g/cm³, a flash point of 115 °C and a boiling point greater than 218 °C. Magnesium is present at 1000 mg/kg Mg in the ROTI®Star hydrocarbon oil matrix of this standard solution.
