Reactievaat, cilindrisch, gegradueerd, met groef in de vlakflens. In de bodem van het reactievaat is een aftapkraan aangebracht. Reactievaten tot 6 liter met een kraanopening Ø van 10 mm; vanaf 10 liter met een kraanopening Ø van 20 mm. Het vlakflens-reactievaat wordt afgesloten met een deksel, dat apart verkrijgbaar is. Beide delen worden bijeengehouden door een klemring. Een afdichtring, of het gebruik van slijpvet, voorkomt dat de geslepen oppervlakken vastklemmen. Geschikte siliconen- en FEP-afdichtringen zijn apart verkrijgbaar. Het vlakflensvat kan via verschillende standaardslijpstukken in het deksel met andere componenten (bijv. koelers, roerassen en druppeltrechters) worden gecombineerd.Toepassingsgebieden: preparatieve werkzaamheden, zoals algemene reacties, destillaties en verdampingen.
