Reactievat, cilindrisch, gegradueerd met groef in de vlakke flens. Het reactievat met vlakke flens wordt afgesloten met een deksel dat apart verkrijgbaar is. Beide delen worden bij elkaar gehouden door een klemring. Een afdichtring, of het gebruik van slijpvet, voorkomt dat de slijpvlakken vastlopen. Geschikte siliconen- en FEP-afdichtringen zijn apart verkrijgbaar. Het vat met vlakke flens kan via diverse standaard slijpstukken in het deksel worden gecombineerd met andere componenten (bijv. koelers, roeras en druppeltrechters).Toepassingsgebieden: voorbereidende werkzaamheden, zoals algemene reacties, destillatie, verdamping en drogen, waarbij vaste of viskeuze stoffen ontstaan.
