Beschrijving

Resistance thermometer WT-K-6/150-2000 PHYSICS is a Pt100 cable resistance thermometer for precise laboratory and process temperature measurement. Configured to DIN EN 60751 Class A in 4-wire technology, it covers an operating range from −50 °C to +200 °C. The stainless-steel protective tube has a diameter of 6 mm and a nominal length of 150 mm, with PTFE coating from the measuring tip to about +20 mm onto the connection lead. A 2 m cable with VA wire braid and Teflon insulation is attached directly to the sensor assembly. Connection is via a Physics plug offering 0,01 °C resolution, so the probe pairs with PHYSICS 100 and PHYSICS 300 instruments. This standard WT-K-6/150-2000 assembly from manufacturer Schneider is supplied as a single unit and suits applications that need stable Class A sensing with chemical resistance at the probe tip and a robust sheathed cable run to the instrument.

This article is part of Laboratory glass thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about RESISTANCE THERMOMETER, WT-K-6/150-2000 PHYSICS 0,01°C #Standard

What is this article?

RESISTANCE THERMOMETER, WT-K-6/150-2000 PHYSICS 0,01°C #Standard is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Schneider for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.

A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
