ROTI®Plate90 zijn geprepareerde kweekbodemplaten met een diameter van 90 mm. Ze zijn daarmee aangepast aan de grootte van membraanfilters voor het testen van vloeistoffen met een laag kiemgetal middels de membraanfiltratiemethode. Ze zijn ook toepasbaar voor de microbiologische analyse van monsters in het algemeen. De kiemen uit de te verwachten vloeistofmonsters met een laag kiemgetal worden geconcentreerd door membraanfiltratie. Daarna wordt het membraan boven op de voedingsbodem gelegd en geïncubeerd. Het gebruik van een membraan met een raster helpt bij het tellen van de resulterende kolonies. Onze producten zijn uitsluitend getest en goedgekeurd voor onderzoek en ontwikkeling.
Monsters waarvan een hogere microbiologische belasting wordt verwacht, worden in een seriële verdunning voorbereid. Vervolgens wordt elke verdunningsstap uitgeplaat en geïncubeerd. Het aantal gegroeide kolonies wordt genoteerd als resultaat.
Selectieve voedingsbodem voor de detectie en kwantitatieve bepaling van Enterococcus spp.
Het in de voedingsbodem aanwezige TTC wordt door Enterococcus gereduceerd tot de in water onoplosbare kleurstof formazaan. Het resulterende formazaan wordt opgenomen door Enterococcus spp., wat de kolonies een rode tot donkerbruine kleur geeft.
