ROTI®CELL Hanks' BSS is een steriele, gebalanceerde zoutoplossing, bereid zonder calcium en magnesium en zonder fenolrood voor celkweektoepassingen. Deze Hanks' gebalanceerde zoutoplossing wordt gebruiksklaar in CELLPURE®-kwaliteit aangeboden en ondersteunt het wassen, spoelen, transporteren en kortstondig bewaren van cellen onder gedefinieerde ionische condities. De afwezigheid van Ca- en Mg-ionen maakt het geschikt voor toepassingen waarbij tweewaardige kationen kunnen interfereren met losmaking, enzymatische stappen of gevoelige assays. Fenolrood is weggelaten om indicator-gerelateerde effecten bij optische of kleurgevoelige metingen te beperken. De oplossing wordt geleverd in een plastic fles van 500 ml en heeft een dichtheid van ongeveer 1 g/cm³ met een kookpunt rond de 100 °C. Het is geschikt voor routinematige media- en oplossingenwerk in celkweeklaboratoria die met adherente of suspensiekweken werken.
