De Carl ROTH gellaadbuffers zijn speciale buffermengsels voor nucleïnezuurelektroforese, die worden gebruikt als additief bij het laden van gels. De gellaadbuffers zijn gebruiksklare oplossingen die direct kunnen worden ingezet.
ROTI®Load DNA-bufferoplossingen bevatten Tris, natriumacetaat en EDTA, met extra tracking dyes. Om de dichtheid tijdens het laden van de gel te verhogen, zijn ze verkrijgbaar in drie verschillende varianten - met glycerol, ficoll en saccharose.
ROTI®Load DNA kan direct aan het opgeloste monster worden toegevoegd of de geprecipiteerde RNA kan direct in ROTI®Load DNA worden opgelost. De ROTI®Load DNA-gellaadbuffer wordt meestal gebruikt als 1x geconcentreerde oplossing.
Om te voorkomen dat belangrijke DNA-banden worden vertroebeld, bevat ROTI®Load DNA short-run (met glycerol) alleen broomfenolblauw in een licht verlaagde concentratie (zie lane 2 in de productafbeelding). De buffer kan ook tot 0,6x worden verdund als het broomfenolblauw in de gel een belangrijke DNA-band zou kunnen maskeren.
Glycerol is het standaardreagens voor het verhogen van de monsterdichtheid.
Elke batch wordt getest op functionaliteit bij elektroforese en is gegarandeerd DNase-vrij.
