De Carl ROTH gellaadbuffers zijn speciale buffermengsels voor nucleïnezuurelektroforese die als monsteradditief bij het laden van gels worden gebruikt. De gellaadbuffers zijn gebruiksklare oplossingen die direct kunnen worden ingezet.
ROTI®Load DNA bufferoplossingen bevatten Tris, natriumacetaat en EDTA, met extra tracking-kleurstoffen. Om de dichtheid bij het laden van de gel te verhogen, zijn ze beschikbaar in drie verschillende varianten - met glycerol, ficoll en saccharose.
ROTI®Load DNA kan direct aan het opgeloste monster worden toegevoegd of de geprecipiteerde RNA kan direct in ROTI®Load DNA worden gesolubiliseerd. ROTI®Load DNA gellaadbuffer wordt meestal als 1x geconcentreerde oplossing gebruikt.
Om te voorkomen dat belangrijke DNA-banden worden vertroebeld, bevat ROTI®Load DNA short-run 1x (met glycerol) slechts een iets lagere concentratie broomfenolblauw (zie baan 2 in de productafbeelding). De buffer kan ook worden verdund tot 0,6x als het broomfenolblauw in de gel een belangrijke DNA-band zou kunnen maskeren.
Glycerine is het standaardreagens voor het verhogen van de monsterdichtheid.
Elke batch wordt getest op functionaliteit bij elektroforese en is bewezen DNase-vrij.
