Savant™ SpeedVac Universal Vacuum System UVS850DDA is a single integrated unit combining a high-efficiency oil-free vacuum source and refrigerated vapour trap for solvent handling and recovery with SpeedVac concentrators. Beyond the standard Universal Vacuum System layout—wide-mouth glass condensation flask with self-sealing cover and compact footprint—the UVS850DDA uses a three-stage oil-free pump with PTFE tubing and vapour path. Maximum vacuum displacement is 36 liters/minute on 60 Hz models and 20 liters/minute on 50 Hz models. An ammonia-neutralising post trap (ANT100) is included, and VaporNet™ technology modulates a valve in the vacuum line so vapour molecules dwell longer in the cold trap than under steady vacuum. The system works with all SpeedVac concentrators and other vacuum-dependent equipment and remains low-maintenance and corrosion resistant. This Thermo Scientific unit is rated 230 V/50 Hz, UL listed to US and Canadian requirements and CE marked. CryoCool™ heat transfer fluid (SCC1) must be ordered separately for use with refrigerated cold traps and Universal Vacuum Sources.
