Beschrijving

testoterm Mini indicators +88.. +110 °C are self-adhesive, temperature-sensitive films that react with a clear colour change when defined temperature thresholds are exceeded. They are well suited to temperature monitoring of products and processes in which a specific temperature must not be surpassed, including moving or small objects and long-term surveillance tasks. Each booklet contains 10 mini indicators that peel off like stickers and adhere directly to the measurement object. The indicators display the temperature points +88 °C, +93 °C, +99 °C, +104 °C and +110 °C. Once a given point is exceeded, the corresponding spots change colour within 2 to 3 seconds. The colour change is irreversible: after the threshold has been crossed the indicator does not reverse even if the temperature later falls, so critical exceedances remain readable after extended periods. These compact sensors from manufacturer Testo support reliable process and product control in laboratory and industrial environments where compact, passive temperature evidence is required.

This article is part of Digital thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about testoterm Mini indicators, +88 … +110 °C

What is this article?

testoterm Mini indicators, +88 … +110 °C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instrumenten.

A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
