Universal oven UN30plus is a 32 l natural-convection laboratory oven for drying, heating and thermal conditioning from a working range of at least 5 °C above ambient up to +300 °C, with a set temperature range of +20 °C to +300 °C. The stainless-steel interior measures 400 × 320 × 250 mm and is fitted with one grid shelf and a stainless-steel door. TwinDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT operation provides electronic exhaust-air flap adjustment from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps, Ethernet for protocol readout, programme transfer and online logging, plus a USB port for stick-based data handling. Multiple overtemperature protection, an integrated data logger with at least ten years’ capacity and three calibration values settable at the ControlCOCKPIT support routine laboratory use. A factory calibration certificate for +160 °C is included. The structured stainless-steel housing measures 585 × 704 × 434 mm; electrical supply is 230 V, 50/60 Hz with maximum power consumption of approximately 1600 W. Net weight is 45 kg. This compact universal oven from manufacturer Memmert suits general laboratory drying and heating workflows where natural convection and documented temperature control are required.

Questions about Universal oven UN30plus, 32l, 20-300°C
What is this article?
Universal oven UN30plus, 32l, 20-300°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instrumenten.
A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
