VA 21/4 NUCLEOGEL Ion 300 OA is a specialised HPLC guard column for protecting analytical columns in ion and organic-acid chromatography. The cartridge measures 21 mm in length with an internal diameter of 4 mm and follows the Valco-type format used with dedicated guard holders. NUCLEOGEL Ion 300 OA chemistry supports workflows in which organic acids and related ionic species are separated, helping retain particulates and strongly retained matrix components before they reach the main bed. Each pack contains two guard cartridges and is intended for use with guard column holder C. These precolumns from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel fit into standard HPLC systems as replaceable protection elements, supporting stable retention behaviour and longer analytical-column lifetime in routine laboratory practice.
