Volumetric flask class A, KB, with blue graduation, PP stopper, coated body, 100 ml capacity and NS 12/21 joint is a precision measuring flask designed for safe handling of hazardous or valuable solutions. Constructed from borosilicate glass 3.3, the flask body is covered with a specially formulated transparent protective coating that behaves like a safety glove. In the event of breakage the coating holds glass fragments together, greatly reducing splash and leakage risk and in most cases retaining the liquid inside the vessel. Technical performance is identical to the corresponding clear and amber uncoated series. The coating withstands up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes, can be cleaned at temperatures up to 95 °C and autoclaved at 121 °C; it must not come into direct contact with an open flame. Offered by manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte, this class A flask combines volumetric accuracy with added mechanical protection, blue graduation for clear meniscus reading and a polypropylene stopper for secure closure.
