Whirl Pak® kunststofzakken van 23 x 15 cm (L x W) zijn veelzijdige monsterzakken die bijzonder geschikt zijn voor vloeibare monsters bij voedsel-, water- en afvalwateronderzoek en voor biologische of chemische specimens. Geproduceerd van low-density polyethylene (LDPE) hebben de steriele zakken een vulopening die aan beide zijden is versterkt met een metalen clip die de opening strak houdt voor handige hantering. Hermetische afsluiting wordt bereikt door de zak aan de metalen clip vast te houden, deze meerdere keren om de eigen as te draaien en daarna de clipeinden om te vouwen en stevig aan te drukken. Het Whirl-Pak® ontwerp maakt herhaald openen en sluiten mogelijk wanneer dat nodig is. Een sterke lasnaad langs alle zijden biedt extra zekerheid tijdens gebruik en transport.
