Coating Thickness Meter PCE-CT 20

The coating thickness meter is a device for accurate and non-destructive measurement of coatings on iron and steel surfaces. The coating thickness meter works stably and reliably and measures the coating thickness according to two principles: Electromagnetic induction for magnetic materials such as steel and eddy current for non-magnetic materials such as aluminium. The measuring range is between 0 and 1400 µm with a resolution of 0.1 µm and an accuracy of ±(3 % +2 µm). The measured values can also be saved and recalled on the device. If the set limit value is exceeded, this is indicated on the display.

It is possible to switch between a single measurement and continuous measurement. The upper edge of the display shows the number of measurements, the battery status and the display for the button sound, which can also be switched off. The coating thickness meter can automatically distinguish between Fe and NFe materials and shows minimum, maximum and average values on the main display. It is compact, lightweight and equipped with a swivelling 2-inch colour display. The units can be selected in µm or mil and the battery is charged via the USB-C interface. The coating thickness meter also has an automatic switch-off function after 5 minutes of non-use.
