Beschrijving

Exhaust air filter M, V3.0 with splash protection and change label is designed for Safety Waste Caps and delivers over 90 % CTC adsorption for high air purity through three integrated activated-carbon grades. This medium-size filter offers a six-month service life under typical LC solvent conditions and ranks among the highest-performance activated-carbon media available for HPLC laboratory waste systems. It prevents escape of harmful vapours while enabling safe pressure equalisation in the waste container. The three-layer filter media cover a broad spectrum against acids and alkalis, are optimised for binding HPLC buffer solutions, and absorb organic solvent vapours. The natural pore structure of the activated carbon resists clogging or sticking. A time indicator provides a clear indication of the next replacement date. Available from manufacturer SCAT in sizes S/M/L with corresponding service lives of 3/6/12 months, regular exchange within the stated interval maintains performance. Use of such exhaust filters can also support reduced air-exchange rates in the laboratory.

Questions about Exhaust filter M, V3.0, Label, PU=1pc

What is this article?

Exhaust filter M, V3.0, Label, PU=1pc is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SCAT for laboratory use. It sits in Fume cupboards & extraction, inside Safety cabinets & hazardous storage, in Veiligheid.

A fume cupboard draws air away from the operator and contains a splash. Face velocity and the sash height at which that velocity was measured are the specification. A recirculating filtered cupboard and a ducted cupboard are different machines. Extraction arms are the smaller, local version.

A safety cabinet keeps a dangerous liquid in a box that is meant to resist fire or to contain a spill for a stated time. The cabinet is chosen by what is stored: flammables, corrosives, or both, in the volume that will actually be in the room. A spill tray is the smaller version of the same idea. A fume cupboard is different: it is airflow that carries vapour away from the face. The rule for equipment worn or used to protect people is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is discussed by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP.
