Water sample bottle PP with sodium thiosulfate, brown, sterile (R), 250 ml is a polypropylene container designed for the collection, transport and storage of water samples destined for microbiological analysis. It can be used in all procedures that demand a sterile specimen. Production takes place in aseptically sterile halls, after which the bottles are sterilised by gamma irradiation; packaging carries batch numbers plus manufacturing and expiry dates. The square form facilitates handling and space-efficient storage, and the GL 50 neck supports straightforward filling and pouring. A polyethylene cap with broad grip grooves, self-locking action and an internal safety ring ensures hermetic, leak-proof closure. Embossed graduations on the walls improve visibility of the fill level. Containing sodium thiosulfate at 20 mg/l in line with ISO/FIS 19458/2006, the bottle is particularly suited to water testing where chlorine might otherwise change sample composition. Brown polypropylene of special composition blocks UV light while retaining high transparency. Supplied by manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte in packs of 108 pieces, these bottles meet routine laboratory sampling needs.
