Water sample bottle PP with sodium thiosulfate, brown, sterile (R), 1000 ml is a polypropylene container for the collection, transport and storage of water samples intended for microbiological analysis. It is suitable for any procedure that requires a sterile specimen. The bottles are manufactured in aseptically controlled production halls and subsequently sterilised by gamma irradiation; batch numbers, manufacturing and expiry dates are shown on the packaging. The square body shape supports easy handling and space-saving storage, while the GL 50 neck facilitates filling and pouring. Polyethylene caps feature wide grip grooves, a self-locking design and an internal safety ring that ensures a hermetic, leak-proof seal. Embossed volume graduations on the side walls improve visibility of the liquid level. Sodium thiosulfate at 20 mg/l in accordance with ISO/FIS 19458/2006 makes these bottles ideal when residual chlorine could alter sample composition.
