Hij combineert een robuuste ABS-behuizing met een weegplateau van roestvast staal kwaliteit 304 van 148 x 148 mm en biedt zo een duurzaam oppervlak voor routinematige monsterhantering. Externe kalibratie houdt de instelling eenvoudig. Batterijwerking biedt tot 216 uur gebruiksduur en de batterij laadt op via de meegeleverde laagspannings-USB-laadkabel; compacte buitenafmetingen van 155 x 225 x 60 mm en deze laadwijze maken het instrument zeer geschikt voor veldonderzoek. Een helder verlicht display met grote cijfers van 18 mm blijft onder de meeste lichtomstandigheden duidelijk afleesbaar en ondersteunt een snelle en eenvoudige aflezing.
