DURAN®-exsiccatorbodem, MOBILEX-type met schroefdraadaansluiting (GL 32) en vlakke flens, DN 150, is een vacuümcompatibel laboratoriumvatcomponent voor het opslaan van vochtgevoelige stoffen en het drogen van vochtige producten. Gemaakt van borosilicaatglas 3.3 houdt de bodem een droogmiddel in het onderste gedeelte, gescheiden door een geperforeerde plaat van metaal of porselein van het monster dat erboven is geplaatst. Het toepassen van vacuüm via een kraanaansluiting verlaagt de inwendige druk zodat vloeistoffen sneller verdampen en het drogen wordt versneld. Alle DURAN®-exsiccatoren zijn vacuümdicht en mogen worden gebruikt tot het technisch maximaal haalbare vacuüm.
