DURAN®-exsiccatorbodem DN 100, NOVUS-type (NS 24/29) met vlakke flens, is een vacuümgeschikt onderste gedeelte van een laboratoriumvat voor het opslaan van vochtgevoelige stoffen en het drogen van vochtige producten. Een geperforeerde plaat van metaal of porselein verdeelt het inwendige zodat droogmiddel in het onderste compartiment vocht kan binden uit het monster dat op de plaat rust. Verlaagde druk kan worden toegepast om de verdamping te versnellen en de droogtijden te verkorten. Na evacuatie wordt het deksel door de atmosferische druk op de bodem gedrukt, zodat de vlakke slijpflens goed moet worden ingevet om later scheiden mogelijk te maken. Alle DURAN®-exsiccatoren zijn vacuümdicht en geschikt tot het technisch maximaal mogelijke vacuüm. Vervaardigd van borosilicaatglas 3.3 door Duran/DWK Life Sciences, biedt deze NOVUS-bodem een dichte afsluiting met standaard slijpstuk, is compatibel met alle dekseltypen en is bedoeld voor gebruik met deksels met een NS 24/29-huls. Hij is goed geschikt voor vochtverwijdering uit vaste stoffen, langdurige opslag van hygroscopische materialen en veilig vacuümdrogen.
