DURAN® YOUTILITY® GL 45 laboratoriumfles, amber, is een fles van 1000 ml borosilicaatglas 3.3, geleverd met schroefdop en schenkring voor lichtgevoelige media. Als alternatief voor helder DURAN®-glas biedt de amber buitenzijde UV-bescherming tot ongeveer 500 nm en voldoet aan de eisen van USP en Eur. Ph. 3.2.1. De bruine kleur is permanent in de buitenste glaslaag ingebrand, zodat de interne DURAN®-eigenschappen ongewijzigd blijven en de kleuring een goede chemische bestendigheid behoudt. Speciaal gevormde greepuitsparingen aan beide zijden verbeteren een veilige hantering, terwijl de verkorte GL 45-schroefdraad volledig compatibel blijft met standaard GL 45-sluitingen en accessoires.
