DURAN® kolf met schotten met GL 45-schroefdraad is een cultuurvat van 500 ml van borosilicaatglas 3.3 voor microbiële kweek op orbitale schudders. Vier geïntegreerde bodemschotten onderbreken de laminaire stroming en creëren turbulentie, waardoor het vloeistofoppervlak en het gasuitwisselingsoppervlak worden vergroot zodat de zuurstofoverdracht aanzienlijk verbetert. Laboratoriumvergelijkingen hebben aangetoond dat de zuurstofinbreng verdubbeld is ten opzichte van een standaard DURAN® Erlenmeyer. Volledig geautomatiseerde vervaardiging levert geometrisch reproduceerbare kolven, terwijl de grotere wanddikte uitstekende mechanische stabiliteit en een lange levensduur biedt.
