De SteriPlast®-schep voor levensmiddelen van blauw polystyreen is een steriel wegwerpgereedschap voor hygiënische hantering van poeders, granulaten en pasta's. Met een nominaal volume van 2 l en een totale lengte van 381 mm is deze geschikt voor bemonsterings- en overbrengtaken in gecontroleerde productieomgevingen. De blauwe kleur van polystyreen (PS) komt van nature niet voor in levensmiddelen, zodat elke schep of elk fragment dat in het proces terechtkomt snel en gemakkelijk wordt gedetecteerd bij visuele inspectie, ter ondersteuning van de controle op vreemde voorwerpen volgens HACCP-beginselen.
