Material: borosilicate glass microfibres, binder-free, white.
MN GF-5 is a binder-free glass fibre filter with very good retention capacity for fine particles. When used as a pre-filter, it protects membranes from clogging. Suitable for the filtration of finely precipitated proteins and for the clarification of nucleic acids as well as for the filtration of organic and inorganic substances. Recommended for filtration when determining the organic substances in the eluate of the shaking method according to DIN 19529:2023-07 (Mantelverordnung für Ersatzbaustoffe und Bodenschutz).
