HBR 4 control LR is een cilindrisch laboratoriumverwarmingsbad met een nuttig volume van ongeveer 4 l en een verwarmingsvermogen van 1,000 W. De verwarmingselementen zijn in de badbodem geïntegreerd, en als warmteoverdrachtsmedium kan olie met lage viscositeit (50 mPas) of water worden gebruikt. Een geïntegreerde magneetroerderaandrijving circuleert de tempereervloeistof voor een betere temperatuuruniformiteit in het hele bad. Het apparaat heeft een traploos instelbare veiligheidstemperatuurbegrenzer volgens DIN 12877, een dubbelmantelontwerp dat het verbrandingsrisico vermindert, en twee draaggrepen voor veilig hanteren.
