LabSen 241-6 pH-elektrode is een semi-microglaselektrode, ontworpen voor kleine monstervolumes vanaf 200 µl en voor gebruik in dunne reageerbuizen. Gebouwd met gepatenteerde Zwitserse sensortechnologie en materialen van fabrikant APERA Instruments gebruikt zij een referentiesysteem met lange levensduur van glazen buis, AgCl en referentiezilverdraad; katoenpakking aan de bovenkant van de dunne glazen buis voorkomt reactie tussen AgCl en elektrolyt bij temperatuurveranderingen, waardoor de referentiestabiliteit verbetert en de levensduur wordt verlengd. Het LabSen S-type semi-microglasmembraan is 100 mm lang met een diameter van 6 mm en een lage membraanweerstand en ondersteunt metingen van volumes ≥0.2 ml bij temperaturen tot 100 °C. Blauw gelelektrolyt vloeit niet en vermijdt vorming van luchtbellen. Een BNC-connector waarborgt compatibiliteit met gangbare laboratorium-pH-meters; er is geen temperatuursensor geïntegreerd, zodat automatische temperatuurcompensatie een afzonderlijke sonde of handmatige invoer vereist. Het meetbereik is 0–14 pH met 3M KCl-elektrolyt en keramisch diafragma. De totale elektrodeafmetingen zijn Ø12×150 mm, meetpunt Ø6×100 mm, loodvrije glazen schacht en kabel Ø3 mm × 1 m.
