Description

The SG68-FK2 SevenGo Duo pro pH/ION/DO field kit is a professional two-channel system for pH, ion concentration and dissolved oxygen, configured for mobile and outdoor use. The meter features manual or automatic air-pressure compensation via a built-in barometer (500 to 1100 mbar), high-performance oxygen measurement, a backlit display, large data memory for detailed GLP protocols, an infrared interface for transfer to a printer or PC and numerous parameter-specific functions. Dissolved oxygen is measured from 0,0 to 600 % or 0,00 to 99,00 mg/L with resolution of 0,1 to 1 % or 0,01 mg/L and accuracy of ±0,5 %; DO temperature spans 0,0 to 60,0 °C. The pH range is −2,000 to 19,999 (resolution 0,1/0,01/0,001; relative accuracy ±0,01) and mV covers −1999,9 to 1999,9. Temperature support includes ATC −5,0 to 105,0 °C and MTC −30 to 130 °C. Supplied by manufacturer Mettler-Toledo OnLine, the field kit contains the meter, InLab®605-ISM oxygen probe (2 m), InLab Expert Pro-ISM pH electrode (2 m), buffer solutions, field case, operating instructions, declaration of conformity, test certificate and four 1,5 V AA batteries. Net weight is 3,28 kg.

Questions about SevenGo Duo pH/Ion/DO meter SG68-FK2-Kit

What is this article?

SevenGo Duo pH/Ion/DO meter SG68-FK2-Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Mettler-Toledo OnLine for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
