Description
Syringe filter with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane, 0,22 µm pore size and 25 mm diameter, developed specifically for HPLC sample preparation. Non-sterile and fully autoclavable, these filters use tear-resistant membranes of high quality in an ultrasonically sealed housing that provides excellent pressure resistance. Sample distribution rings in the body direct liquid for uniform filtration in both directions, promoting high flow rates and filtration speed while reducing the risk of fluid overload. A special female Luer-Lock connector ensures secure attachment to syringes, and the housing design supports operation with robotic laboratory systems. Membrane type and porosity are printed on each unit, and colour-coded sealing rings enable quick visual distinction of the membrane material. Supplied from manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte as packs of 100 pieces, these Ø 25 mm PTFE syringe filters are well suited to analytical sample clean-up where chemical resistance, clear identification and dependable mechanical integrity are required in everyday HPLC workflows.
This article is part of Syringe filters, in Filtration.

Questions about syringe filter - ISOLAB - PTFE - 0,22/25
What is this article?
syringe filter - ISOLAB - PTFE - 0,22/25 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Syringe filters, inside Filtration, in Lab consumables.
A syringe filter is a membrane in a plastic housing on a Luer fitting. Pore size, membrane polymer and diameter are the three choices. 0.2 µm is the sterilising and the HPLC-particle cut. 0.45 µm is the coarser clarification. Aqueous and solvent-resistant membranes are different polymers.
Filtration holds back what is larger than the pores and lets the rest through. Paper is the ordinary laboratory filter. A membrane has a stated pore size and a polymer that must survive the solvent. A syringe filter is that membrane in a housing on a syringe. Glass fibre takes a higher dirt load. Ultrafiltration holds back macromolecules and passes salts. The pore size, the chemical compatibility and the volume are the three choices. Laboratory apparatus around filtration is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
