Ultra-microcuvet type 105.21-QS is een spectroscopiecel met hoge precisie, vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig kwartsglas voor het spectrale venster 200 nm tot 2500 nm. Hij heeft een optische weglengte van 10 mm, een cirkelvormige apertuur van Ø 0.8 mm, een middenhoogte van 15 mm en een uiterst laag vulvolume van slechts 5 µl, afgesloten door een PE-stop. SUPRASIL®-kwarts waarborgt een transmissie groter dan 82 %, waardoor nauwkeurige metingen mogelijk zijn, zelfs met zeer kleine monsterhoeveelheden op conventionele spectrofotometers. Uitzonderlijke nauwkeurigheid van de weglengte en parallelliteit van de vensters leveren voortdurend reproduceerbare gegevens. De cel is thermisch verbonden, niet gelijmd, wat uitstekende bestendigheid tegen temperatuur en chemicaliën biedt en lekkage voorkomt. Afgeschuinde randen ondersteunen een veilige hantering en verminderen het risico op afbrokkelen. Na reiniging kan de cuvet opnieuw worden gebruikt, waardoor het een duurzame keuze is voor ultra-microwerk.
