Volumetric flask, class A, KB with blue graduation, PP stopper and protective coating, 200 ml, NS 14/23 is a precision measuring vessel for accurate volumetric work in the laboratory. Made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, it is calibrated to class A accuracy and fitted with a ground joint NS 14/23. The body carries a specially formulated transparent coating that acts like a protective glove: if the flask breaks, fragments are held together and leakage of hazardous or valuable solutions is strongly reduced. In most cases the coating retains the liquid inside the flask body. The coating withstands temperatures up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes, permits cleaning at up to 95 °C and autoclaving at 121 °C; direct contact with an open flame must be avoided. Clear and amber versions share identical technical specifications.
