Cuvette type 109F-QS for magnetic stirring bars is a precision cell made from high-performance quartz glass (SUPRASIL®) covering a wavelength range from 200 nm to 2500 nm. Optical path length is 10 × 4 mm and the filling volume is 1500 µl (0,0015 l). It is supplied with a magnetic stirring bar and a PTFE folding lid and is intended for fluorometry on common laboratory instruments. Hellma precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and are thermally bonded rather than glued, giving high resistance to temperature and chemicals while helping to prevent unwanted leakage. Selected high-performance quartz glasses provide excellent transmission above 82 % for exact, reproducible measurement results. Bevelled edges enable safe, comfortable handling and minimise the risk of chipping. The cells can be cleaned and reused, supporting sustainable long-term laboratory use. Manufacture follows EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets high optical standards for fluorescence applications.
