Chromium Standard Solution is a metallo-organic standard containing 1000 mg/kg Cr in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil. The ROTI®Star preparation supplies a defined chromium content in an oil matrix for analytical calibration, including atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) methods that require oil-based rather than aqueous references. A viscosity of 20 cSt and a chromium level of 1000 mg/kg Cr give a clearly specified starting composition. Physical properties include a density of 0,862 g/cm³, a flash point of 115 °C and a boiling point above 218 °C, which describe the hydrocarbon oil carrier and support routine handling of the liquid. The solution is offered as a 50 ml pack with a net weight of 0,100 kg.
