A reversible backlit display supports flexible orientation during use, while peak-hold captures maximum values and track mode provides continuous readout. The metal housing is built for lasting service under demanding conditions, and a rising light-band capacity indicator shows remaining measuring range at a glance. Limit function allows upper and lower thresholds between 10 and 100 % of maximum capacity in both tension and compression, backed by acoustic and optical signals; overload above 110 % of range triggers clear warnings. Internal memory stores up to 500 measured values, with USB data interface and cable included as standard. Selectable units include N, kgf, ozf and lbf, with AUTO-OFF or continuous operation. Delivered in a robust carrying case with standard attachments and a 90 mm extension rod, the gauge from manufacturer Kern mounts on all SAUTER test stands up to 5 kN.
