Beschreibung
DJS-0.1-C conductivity electrode for pure water is a specialised laboratory sensor designed for accurate conductivity measurement of purified and ultrapure water. It incorporates a flow-through module that eliminates the influence of atmospheric CO2, protecting low-ionic-strength readings from air contamination. The high-sensitivity platinum-chip sensing element delivers reliable performance across the range 0 to 200 µS/cm. With cell constant K = 0,1, the electrode features a lead-free glass shaft and overall dimensions of Ø12 × 155 mm; the platinum chip itself measures Ø7 × 18 mm. Connection is provided by a 1 m cable terminated with a BNC connector. An integrated temperature sensor is not included; temperature compensation therefore requires either a separate temperature probe or manual entry of the sample temperature. This electrode from manufacturer APERA Instruments is intended for pure-water monitoring in research, pharmaceutical and quality-control laboratories and is supplied as a single piece with a six-month manufacturer warranty.
This article is part of Conductivity meters & cells, in pH & electrochemistry. See also pH meters.

Questions about DJS-0.1-C Pure Water Conductivity Electrode (K=0.1, BNC Connector)
What is this article?
DJS-0.1-C Pure Water Conductivity Electrode (K=0.1, BNC Connector) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Präzisionsinstrumente.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
