DURAN® filtration attachment with PP funnel and two FKM seals is a modular laboratory filtration unit intended for separation and purification of diverse media. Constructed from borosilicate glass 3.3, the assembly provides a nominal volume of 1000 ml (1 l) and comprises a receiver vessel, sealing ring, glass filter plate and funnel that can be fully taken apart. Every single component is replaceable or interchangeable, enabling the filter to be tailored to the specific task. Three device sizes combined with four filter-plate porosities create twelve distinct filtration configurations. A permanently fired white graduation scale with line division remains durable and easy to read for content measurement. Interchangeable filter plates increase longevity because retained solids can be removed without damaging the plate surface, and both sides of the plate are readily accessible for cleaning. Separate ordering of devices and plates makes the system economical. The attachment is delivered complete with the polypropylene funnel and two FKM seals from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences.
