DURAN® flat flange lid with four standard ground joint necks (two angled, one parallel and one centre) serves as the cover for large-volume flat flange reaction vessels that offer an alternative to conventional round-bottom flasks. Fabricated from borosilicate glass 3.3 in DN 100 size, it provides a centre neck NS 29/32, two angled side necks NS 29/32 and one vertical side neck NS 14/23, enabling flexible connection of dropping funnels, stirrer shafts and related accessories. Lid and base are held together by a clamping ring; a gasket or ground-joint grease prevents the ground surfaces from seizing and guarantees a dense seal. The geometry and solid wall thickness make the vessel pressure- and vacuum-resistant for safe laboratory operation.
