DURAN® GL 45 stirred reactor set is a complete standalone bottle stirring system for simple laboratory mixing applications, supplied with a clear 1000 ml bottle, blue PP screw cap, two GL 14 ports, two red PBT GL 14 caps and a folding blade stirrer. The adjustable stirrer shaft can be set to the optimum working height in a 500 or 1000 ml DURAN® GL 45 bottle and is driven by standard magnetic stirrers up to 500 rpm, providing clearly improved mixing performance versus conventional magnetic stir bars. Chemically resistant materials—PP, PTFE, PEEK and stainless steel—from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences ensure durability; media-contact parts comply with FDA requirements and the assembly is fully autoclavable and suitable for food contact. DURAN® GL 45 / GL 14 tubing connection components accept semi-rigid tubing with outer diameters of 1,6, 3,0, 3,2 or 6,0 mm for addition or removal of liquids or gases. Not suitable for overhead laboratory stirrers. Typical uses cover simple cost-effective bioreactors, continuous-flow stirred reactors, mixing of liquids, samples or reagents, and photo-bioreactor setups. Nominal volume 1 l; supplied as one complete set.
