EC 4/3 NUCLEOSIL 100-3 C18 is an HPLC guard column cartridge measuring 4 mm in length with a 3 mm internal diameter, filled with NUCLEOSIL 100-3 C18 reversed-phase material. The pack contains three cartridges for protecting analytical C18 columns from particulates and strongly retained matrix components. Designed for main columns with 3, 4 or 4,6 mm internal diameter, these guards must be used with the Column Protection System guard-column holder (REF 718966). The 3 µm NUCLEOSIL C18 chemistry aligns with high-efficiency reversed-phase methods that already employ matching NUCLEOSIL 100-3 C18 analytical columns. Short EC 4/3 geometry limits added dead volume while helping preserve peak shape and column lifetime under routine HPLC conditions.
