ETH SER 16 is an Ethernet-serial converter that enables control and data readout of up to 16 laboratory instruments with serial interfaces over an Ethernet network. Each port supports RS 232, RS 422 and RS 485, giving flexible connectivity for mixed instrument fleets in analytical and research laboratories. Configuration is performed either through dedicated PC software or via the integrated web application, so setup can be completed without specialised programming skills. The unit is supplied ready for installation with an external power supply (input 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz, 1 A max.; output 12 V / 1 A), a black IEC C7 mains cable with Euro plug (Figure 8, 2 m), a DIN-rail mounting kit and an installation guide.
