Beschreibung

Drying oven with forced air circulation, LBX OVF, 125 L is a laboratory drying cabinet designed for controlled thermal processing between 40 °C and 300 °C. The exterior is metal with an epoxy resin coating, while the inner chamber is stainless steel for straightforward cleaning. Temperature is set via microprocessor control with 0,1 °C resolution, ±1 °C fluctuation, and homogeneity and stability of ±2,5 %. Protective functions cover overheating, sensor fault alarm, working-temperature definition, timer (0–9999 min), deviation correction and safety lock. Adjustable feet simplify installation and levelling. A window door opens to 180° and uses double heat-safety glass so the chamber can be checked externally without disturbing internal conditions. Forced air is driven by a fan; a start/stop switch also allows operation by natural convection. Supplied from manufacturer Labbox with two height-adjustable wire shelves (further shelves can be added), the unit runs on 220 V / 50–60 Hz and carries a 2-year warranty. Net weight is 66 kg.

This article is part of Drying ovens & climate chambers, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about Force Air Drying Oven LBX OVF series, 125 L, EU plug

What is this article?

Force Air Drying Oven LBX OVF series, 125 L, EU plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Drying ovens & climate chambers, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Präzisionsinstrumente.

A drying oven holds a temperature above ambient to drive off water or to condition a sample. A climate chamber also holds humidity. Uniformity across the chamber, not only the set point, decides whether two samples on different shelves saw the same conditions.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
