HBR 4 control LR S002 is a cylindrical laboratory heating bath with UK plug, offering a useful volume of approximately 4 l and 1,000 W heating power. Heating elements are built into the bath base; low-viscosity oil (50 mPas) or water can serve as the heat-transfer medium. An integrated magnetic stirrer drive circulates the bath liquid, promoting even heat distribution. Safety features include a continuously adjustable temperature limiter according to DIN 12877 and a double-jacket construction that protects against contact burns. Two carrying handles aid transport, while a digital display presents set-point, actual and safety temperatures together with stirrer speed. An RS232 interface enables external communication, and the bath accepts an external temperature sensor for direct control in the medium. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer IKA, this UK-plug version supports precise tempering tasks in laboratories requiring British mains connection.
