Beschreibung

Hei-VAP Core ML G1 is a motor-lift rotary evaporator configured with a G1 diagonal condenser and CH cable, designed for clear, essential laboratory evaporation workflows. The operating concept focuses on direct access to the core parameters rotation speed and heating-bath temperature. An uncluttered digital display shows actual and set values at a glance, while two separate rotary knobs with dynamic control allow fast large adjustments or slow, precise fine-tuning of the setpoints. A lock function prevents accidental changes, and LED rings indicate active functions even from a distance. Immersion depth is adjustable up to 155 mm and the evaporator flask tilt angle can be set from 20° to 80°. A standby function and residual-heat warning for bath temperatures above 50 °C support safer handling; the standby key stops all functions and, on motor-lift models, raises the flask out of the heating bath. This Heidolph unit is supplied as a complete 1 pc configuration for routine solvent removal and concentration tasks in research and quality-control laboratories.

This article is part of Rotary evaporators, in Pumps, vacuum & evaporation.

Questions about Hei-VAP Core ML G1 -- CH-plug

What is this article?

Hei-VAP Core ML G1 -- CH-plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Rotary evaporators, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Präzisionsinstrumente.

A rotary evaporator spins a flask under vacuum so solvent boils off a sample at a modest temperature. The flask size, the condenser type and the vacuum the seal can hold are the specification. Bumping is a flask that was too full or a vacuum that arrived too fast.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
