The Hellma® semi-micro cell type 6040-OG is a semi-micro laboratory cell with a path length of 10 mm and a filling volume of 1400 µl, supplied with a PTFE seamed lid. It is intended for optical measurements on small liquid samples where a 10 mm path is required and the available volume is limited to the semi-micro range. The 1400 µl capacity allows the beam path to be filled without the larger volumes associated with full-size cells, while the 10 mm dimension defines the optical path through the sample. A PTFE seamed lid is included with the cell. It is supplied as a single unit and weighs 0,025 kg. This type 6040-OG semi-micro cell from manufacturer Hellma is used in analytical laboratories for spectrophotometric and photometric work on reduced sample volumes.
