ICP-MS multi-element standard solution ROTI®Star is a laboratory standard containing 19 elements at 10 mg/l in 2 % HNO3. The dissolved elements are Ce, Cs, Dy, Er, Eu, Ga, Gd, Ho, La, Nd, Pr, Rb, Sm, Tb, Th, Tm, U, Y and Yb, each specified at 10 mg/l in the nitric acid matrix. Density is ~1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is 100 °C. The solution is supplied as 100 ml, with a packaged weight of 0,120 kg. Available from manufacturer Carl ROTH as a ROTI®Star ICP-MS standard, it is intended for multi-element calibration in ICP-MS laboratories. The 2 % HNO3 matrix and the 10 mg/l level allow stepwise dilution to working concentrations. This 19-element combination covers selected rare earths together with gallium, rubidium, caesium, thorium, uranium and yttrium.
