Beschreibung
Immersion bomb, brass, 500 ml is a heavy-duty sampling vessel for crude oils, liquid mineral oil products, fuels, special and test gasolines, heating oils, petroleum and liquid lubricants in line with explosion groups IIA, IIB and IIC. Built entirely from non-sparking nickel-plated brass, it resists oxidation and is tested for use in EX protection zone 0. Measuring H x Ø 300 x 75 mm and weighing about 3,0 kg, the high mass enables rapid lowering into the medium. A screw-off upper section simplifies cleaning, and a robust carrying handle supports safe field handling. From manufacturer Bürkle, the immersion container can be used for target-point, all-layer and bottom samples. For point sampling, a suspension rope and a pull rope open the valve at the selected depth; for bottom samples the valve opens automatically under the vessel’s own weight and closes again on retrieval. Contents are emptied via the bottom valve. The 500 ml format suits routine petrochemical and industrial liquid sampling where durable, EX-rated immersion equipment is required.

Questions about Immersion cylinder, brass, 500 ml, hxØ 300x75 mm
What is this article?
Immersion cylinder, brass, 500 ml, hxØ 300x75 mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle accessories (pouring rings, dispensers, caps), inside Bottles & containers, in Laborbedarf.
Bottle accessories are the pieces on the neck: a pouring ring, a dispenser seat, a cap liner, a tamper ring. They decide how the bottle delivers and whether the closure still matches after the original cap is gone.
A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
