Sheathed thermocouple NiCr-NiAl(K) is a fine Type K temperature sensor intended for precise thermal measurement where a very small probe diameter is required. This version features a 0,5 mm sheath diameter and 200 mm length, giving a slender profile with extended reach into confined spaces. The Inconel mantle protects the NiCr-NiAl thermocouple wires, which are embedded in magnesium to preserve insulation and signal stability under heat. Continuous use is specified up to 1100 °C, while the cold junction must not exceed 80 °C. A permanently connected 1 metre compensating cable enables direct instrument hook-up; additional cable lengths are available on request. Offered as one piece from manufacturer LAT, the sensor is suited to laboratory research, micro-scale process points and quality testing that call for a delicate Mantel-Thermoelement with magnesium-embedded conductors.
