Sheathed thermocouple NiCr-NiAl (type K), 300 mm long with diameter Ø 0,5 mm, is a fine mineral-insulated temperature sensor for precise laboratory and process work. The NiCr-NiAl (type K) combination can be used up to 1100 °C and suits applications where a very slender probe must reach confined spaces or small sample volumes. An Inconel sheath protects the element, and the thermo wires are embedded in magnesium for insulation and mechanical support along the full length. Maximum cold-junction temperature is specified at 80 °C. A fixed 1 metre compensation cable is permanently attached; further cable options can be requested. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer LAT, this sheathed thermocouple is intended for instruments with type K input and for setups that benefit from a flexible, thin 0,5 mm sheath with a 300 mm insertion length. Typical uses include fine temperature profiling, small reactors, and measurement points where minimal thermal mass and a narrow probe diameter are advantageous.
