Lead Standard Solution ROTI®Star, 5000 mg/kg Pb in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil

Lead Standard Solution is a metallo-organic standard containing 5000 mg/kg Pb in 20 cSt hydrocarbon oil. This ROTI®Star preparation is used as an oil-based lead standard for atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) methods in the metallo-organic standards category. The 50 ml unit provides a defined mass fraction of lead in a hydrocarbon oil matrix of 20 cSt viscosity, suitable for preparing calibration solutions in oil, lubricant and related hydrocarbon samples. Density is 0,862 g/cm³, the flash point is 115 °C and the boiling point is greater than 218 °C. These physical properties describe the hydrocarbon oil carrier and support laboratory handling, dilution and instrument introduction according to in-house methods. The product is offered by manufacturer Carl ROTH in the ROTI®Star line of standards for AAS and ICP.
