Met de IKA Pro-Seal kunnen gebruikers van ElectraSyn 2.0 een vacuüm van slechts 50 mbar in de glazen flacon bereiken, waardoor de uitwisseling van lucht met inert gas in de reactieomgeving wordt vergemakkelijkt. Afdichtingsmechanismen in de dop beperken de gasstroom in en uit de flacon tijdens gebruik.
Alle huidige glazen ElectraSyn 2.0-ampullen (1 ml/ 2 ml/ 5 ml/ 10 ml) en elektroden zijn compatibel met de IKA Pro-Seal. De IKA Pro-Seal kan worden gebruikt met een houder voor één ampullen (behoort tot de leveringsomvang van de ElectraSyn 2.0), de IKA ElectraSyn GOGO-module of met de carrouselbevestiging voor maximaal zes ampullen.
